When cleaning my grinder plates, I take them out in the back yard and blow them out with the air compressor, works like a charm, then back to the sink for a good scrubbing

Smoke generator for Xmas

Hey all Wanted to share a Christmas gift that I got, it`s an "A-maze-n-smoker". I wonder if somebody else on the WD site has had experience with this little smoker. I like to refer to it as a smoke generator, but the web site calls it a smoker. The smoker (generator) works great for the BBQ or small...

Thanks for posting, will definitely give this a try. One thing I enjoy in life next to sausage making is a good BBQ!
Have a safe and happy holiday

My apologies I guess I was in a strange mood last night and just wanted to poke a little Christmas fun. I meant no harm, I hope no offence was taken.
Now I will go back to the pink powder in the corner

Hey Bubba
I have that same slicer advertised at Mid Western too, it works ok, but I think its objective is to slice bread, works ok with meat but not great.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but might be worth a look. You could adjust the pork for all beef, and add a half pound of pork fat for texture.

Keymaster I wouldn`t worry about a vent or cutting a hole in the cabinet. If the cabinet door has a good seal I would just crack it open once in a while. You might want to install a fan inside, in the future for minimal air flow. Nice job your work looks like a neat and clean setup. Wally
