Hi Jan, I think our other latest member's name is Jan also. The history of Brisbane is facinating. And a beautiful city it is. What is it that they call those gorgeous huge buildings that accent the skyline - the Gold Coast buildings or something like that? Hey Crusty, isn't Brisbane just about as far east as one may travel in Australia? Oh yes, one more question. What do you buckaroos call your cowboys down under?
Looking forward to chatting with you crustyo.

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

Hi Members,
Thank you for a warm welcome. If time permits, I will asking lots of questions.
Chuckwagon, in Queensland we have still have cowboys, and also Jackaroos and Jillaroos.
The latter is the female version.
Don't talk about the Gold Coast. It's going to pieces. At night you need to drive an armoured car to dodge flying projectiles, armed hold ups are out of hand etc etc etc .
Who wants to visit this cursed place.
Australia is a great place to live if we only had better political leaders with the balls to implement some decent jail sentences to deter crims.
Regards,
Jan.
Brisbane.
