New forums!

Post by Chuckwagon » Wed Sep 19, 2012 08:41

Hi fellow members,
Our buddy Miroslaw Gebarowski has announced the formation of two new forums for us on the index page. First, a forum for "Smokehouses" (construction and maintenance). This will be a very welcome addition for many of our members and should provide a spot for some great interaction. Second, is a forum called "Tips" and should be a terrific resource for beginners as well as ol' timers who wish to post some of their secrets. The administrator will be adding the icons soon. Thanks Mirek and Vtek! These will help make our site a better place for everyone.

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it probably needs more time on the grill! :D

Sounds great, I'm hoping to build a smokehouse sometime soon now that I've moved back home.

I'm looking forward to the Smokehouse forum. I have been looking at pictures in the Polish site, trying to find ideas. Very difficult and time consuming not speaking the language and translating with Google.

Hi Jim,
I am in the process of converting a bakers bread proofer into a smoker. These proofers are too expensive to repair most of the time and are sold as scrap. They are all stainless inside/out, insulated, a sturdy door and come in a variety of sizes.
I will be putting photo's on the new smoker forum when possible.
Regards,
Jan.
