I am so sorry to hear your news Ross. All the very best for Thursday. I'll be thinking of you both. They can do so much these days; treatment has come such a long way, particularly with this cancer. So hard watching someone you love go through something like this. But you will help her through it all and give her the strength of your love. As you can see on this forum, you have many genuine people all over the world who care.

Just a few words to bring this up to date. Nancy had a PET scan last Thursday and the results of that show no tumors other than those already discovered. Surgery is scheduled for this Thursday the 23rd. Her doctor does not anticipate any complications. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts.
Ross

Rejoice with us!

Nancy came through her Breast cancer surgery in fine condition and we are back home. This is part of the battle but everyone involved with her care is pleased and optimistic. Thank you for all of you thoughts and concerns. Ross

Ray you wouldn't believe this dear woman. We came home just before noon, I fixed her some lunch, our son was here until about 3 and she went in to take a nap. She got up about 7 and opened the mail and sat down at her desk to work on the account books. Talked for a half hour with a friend has had supper with a glass of wine, watched Patina Miller live from the Lincoln center and chased me from the kitchen so she could do the dishes.

Great news Ross. Nancy must come from "sturdy stock" my friend. Spoil her every chance you get! And take her a flower once in a while! She'll be back sailing in no time, but I'm afraid you'll have to be the deck-hand. Let her do the navigating.

Best Wishes,
Chuckwagon

I pulled the first iris riticulata blossom this morning. It is our first flower this spring. Won't be any sailing this season, we still have chemo and radiation therapy ahead of her.

We got home today about 1:30 after the first of 4 infusions. Nancy is doing remarkably well and we will see how she manages the next few days.
