troubleshooting a curing fridge.

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about refrigerator repair. My curing fridge will not cool down. It is not the external temp control. I am getting power but the compressor will not kick on. Any thoughts?

Have you bypassed the internal control? Have you checked to see if you have power to the compressor? A no contact voltage detector is useful in times like this.

thank god for the internet. It turned out to be the defrost timer.
