Any one tried this latest model remote thermometer by Maverick?

If it's as good as their earlier models, it ought to be good. I've used/abused one for a couple of years, now. I have to stick a toothpick or other sharp instrument into the slide switch on the transmitter in order to operate it (the little plastic handle part broke off a while back), but it keeps on running reliably.

I have one and use it all the time. The remote is not as they brag it to be. I did put silicone right the wire goes into the probe to stop moisture ( it was advised to me). Very happy with it. My 2 cents worth.
