Homemade Sausage Making

Just ordered it online for a Christmas present. Seems to be a blackfriday or pre blackfriday sale price. $69.99 free shipping.

You can't go to far wrong at $69.99 @ free post, adequate introductory machine. Find out if you like pottering around making your own sausages etc.

Stainless body = good, has holes for mounting screws, I'd mount it on a board and clamp that to a kitchen bench.

I noticed it has nylon (or some synthetic) gears, they won't last as long a metal but you will most likely get decent use if they are going to wear out or strip the teeth.

The other thing was the filler tubes, way to big for normal thin sausages, great for salamis and bigger casings.

eg.. "Includes 3/4", 7/8" and 1" plastic stuffing tubes."

Thats a good deal Nick If you don't have any get some white grease or mineral oil Gel for the gears. I believe the Gel is approved for "incidental food contact"
