May be it's me, but I thought if I typed in the word Thermometer in " search " I would find tons of answers to my question, but nothing can up as usual.

Want to buy a BBQ thermometer with at least one pit sensor and two meat sensor (more is better)
I want wireless and Bluetooth is a plus.
I've looked at a lot, but can make up my mind on what to get, so, please help.

* Pit thermometer probe
* At least 2 meat probes
* Additional Probes a big plus
* Bluetooth accepted but not needed.

Would like to see what you all recommend ?

I've been using the Maverick et735, The bluetooth range isn't the best. come with 2 probes but it has 4 ports if you want to add more.

I'll be buying soon, a Fireboard fbx11, has wifi and bluetooth and comes with three probes and is capable of handling six.

I guess a lot would depend on your budget.

I would add temp controller, especially if you plan on cold smoking.

That Fireboard is really nice, one that I will consider very seriously, I also like that it has pit temp control and you can purchase the fan.
It is a bit of an investment, so I have to think hard about my needs and what I really need.

Thank you!

It monitors the temp. It does not control the temp. Your smoker setting controls the temp and few go lower than 100° f

I have the fireboard.com 6 probes Bluetooth/WIFI. It was expensive but I've gone through enough Mavericks I could have saved money if I bought the Fireboard 1st. It works great & their support is great although I've only had ID Ten T errors.

Also I have aluminium siding & Bluetooth only works with a clear line of sight to a window overlooking my smoker.

Fireboard is looking at doing heat control. it does have an option to control a small fan for wood smokers as an output addon, I asked about controlling a relay and it is being looked at.

The Stoker has 3 device ports on the front and 3 on the back. The ports accept any combination of blowers, pit probes, food probes, and port expanders enabling you to control multiple cookers. Port expanders are used to add more devices.
