Happy Independence day to all my Southern friends and Neighbours. Fire up the smoker invite some family and friends over for some libations and food. You have earned it, don't forget those who made your country so great and free and who are still fighting to keep it that way.

Thank you for that glorious link. My experience of USA is countless trips to the uninspiring cesspool that is LA and one wonderful day in New York. Such beautiful natural scenery is the real deal. Some amazing sights.

Ursula, in the video, did you see all the red-rock spires of Bryce Canyon in southern Utah? My grandmother was born in the bottom of that canyon! (Her father was Eb Bryce). There's a monument on the rim with his immortal words engraved in it... "A hell of a place to lose a cow!".

Best Wishes,

Thank you for posting that video link CW, and happy 4th to every one as well.

A little Bubba math reasoning on how massive the USA is:-

If one starts at the age of 20, lives and explores one state of the USA every year, that person would be older than 70 when he / she has completed the journey.
That's how big our beautiful country is.......

CW, went back to have another look.Spectacular. Now how did your grandma happen to be born
down in that canyon? Could be another of CW's tall stories?
