Thanks Chris, but I feel a lot more like a old dog than a young pup! I get to spend the day driving my wife for some oral surgery. She has to have a front tooth removed, a cyst removed, and a insert installed to attach a new front tooth to. Really complicated stuff that's going to keep me around the house and doing some nursing duties for the next week. She didn't mean to set the appointment on my B-day, that's what the doctor ordered. Hi Chris,
Thank you, I only wish that I was 40 years younger and a forum member then. So much sausage making , curing and smoking to do and not much time to do it in.
I'll manage though.
We certainly will enjoy the day with family, old, young and super young.
Cheers Mate,
Jan.

Happy B-Day Jan! There's plenty of time, we'll live forever thru sausage making. RAY

Hey Cabonia, is it just me or did you just turn 59? Won't be much longer than that hog in your yard starts lookin' at you as something to snack on! A great month to be born in, lot of cold nights in early February. Happy birthday Cab! RAY

Thank you Ray! I turned 58 on the 6th.

I love October too, when the frost is on the pumpkin and the hog... is in the freezer.

Belated Birthday Greetings Jan (Crusty).

Just knocked us some more sausages that contain the Hungarian Paprika. I am having a BBQ on saturday. I will give a toast to you.

Hi Mark,
Are you still using the Hungarian Paprika you bought here in Brisbane? That was the place where they filled you up with all sorts of free samples and I got nothing!!!!!!!!
I reckon the old Yugo chook there had her eye on you!!
By the way,I just got a 1 kg bag of the best Hungarian Paprika that Gus brought back from Hungary for me.
I have already used some to make 8.7 kg of Csabai yesterday, it's still taking a fridge nap at the moment but tomorrow and the next day is smoking time.
Cheers Mate,
Jan.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, I've got moose and deer in the freezer and hope next week to be making some Kielbasa, a couple of batches of snack stix and some Col. Big Guy sausage.
