Was wondering if anyone has tried the Milwaukee PH meter that sausagemaker.com sells?

Its a good price but the sausage probe is worth more than the meter. I wonder if you are careful one could get away with using the probe it comes with.
Reviews anyone?
Thanks

That's a great price! I suspect that it has a plastic, rather than glass probe, but if it works then I would go for it. Has mixed reviews on Amazon, but most negative reviews are by guys who don't understand working with instruments of this nature.

I would also check whether a glass probe is available for this model, because you will need to replace it eventually.

I purchased the MW102 meter. It differs from the MW101 model that TSM sells in that it auto calibrates (no turning small screws) and also has a temp probe. Price was less than the 101 at Zorro http://www.zoro.com/g/Water%20Testing%2 ... /00097290/
Anyways unit works great. How long the electrode lasts only time will tell. When it goes I will upgrade to the meat/cheese probe.
