Convention
One thing stands out a mile - those people know how to live !
If you read their history they have plenty of experience in living well and living very hard. In my lifetime they have had some very bad years and some not so bad years and now they are starting to have some pretty good years. Some of their food is born of very hard times and they made festive with what they have been able to pull together. I admire the creativity of the Polish people and their ability to bring back the traditions of their ancestors.
I have known many immigrant Poles who were hard working farmers and trademen when I was just a boy in Connecticut.
