Was going to order one but I wanted they distressed stainless look rather than the shiny stuff. Shiny just won't go with my decor so I'll have to pass.

Bob, if you go to page 112 in the online catalog in your first link they list them at $47,000. That's some markup between ebay and that supply company.

Ever notice how everything that has HACCP approval is insanely overpriced. That paper trail of proof gets expensive.

I know one slaughter plant that collects and catalogs the DNA of each animal it slaughters and has an on site genetics lab to keep up with all this in case of lawsuits.

Kind of expensive for a bakery proofer with a fridge built in!
Or a fridge with a bakery proofer built in.

Just out of curiosity, what do you think a fair price for something like this would be if someone had the ability to start producing them?

Probably about the same price as a nice high end wine fridge.

Can you give a link to an example?

I don't think wine coolers have dehumidification with a drain pan. I was considering modifying one of my eurocave 250's. I decided to use a conventional refrigerator.
